Itinerary Detail

Day 01 -Arrival at Kathmandu 1,350m transfer to Hotel.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Good Day Nepal. After that, you will transfer to Hotel.  At the evening Your Guide gives some information about this trek and take a rest in Hotel.

Day 02 – Drive to Chame 2,670m 4/5 hours overnight at Teahouse.

We have to begin the trip very early today as we need to go a long drive to reach our trek starting point. After breakfast, we leave Kathmandu at around 7 am and nearly after 9 -10 hours’ drive we reach Chame. En route, we see more of the countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, terraced rice fields and beautiful mountain sceneries.

Day 03 – Trek to Pisang 3,200m 5/6 hours overnight at Teahouse.

This will be the beginning point of trekking section of this trip. A steep and narrow trail through a very dense forest brings us to the dramatic curved rock face of Paungda Danda. As the trail opens up we get surrounded by majestic Himalayan Peaks. We find ourselves in U-shaped valley of Manang hanging between two giant snow peaks. After walking through these wonderful sites we reach Pisang. Overnight at Pisang.

Day 04 – Trek to Ngawol Village 3,660m 5/6 hours overnight at Teahouse.

After our hot and wonderful breakfast, we start Trek from Pisang to Ngawol village. Along the way you can see wonderful things which your guide show you and you may ask any information with him because he knows everything about this trek. Around 5 to 6 hrs you will arrive in Ngawol Village and overnight at teahouse.

Day 05 – Trek to Chulu East Base Camp 4,989m 5/6 hours overnight at Tent.

After having breakfast in the morning the trip commences towards Chulu East Base Camp. Today, we will follow a steeply climbing trail to reach Chulu Far East Base Camp.  The climbing trail at times crosses rocks as well. During the trek, our journey will be accompanied by Annapurna Valley Himalayan views. Camping Overnight at Base Camp.

Day 06 – Rest for acclimatization and preparation for climbing overnight at Tent.

It will be another acclimatization day for us at a high altitude. Today, we involve on peak climbing training with our guides. Besides practicing peak climbing, we also hike to the nearest glacier on the base camp. In overall, all these sorts of activities let us prepare and arrange our trekking gear at the one hand and on the other side, it will boost our confidence to conquer the upcoming peak. Day 07 – Trek to High Camp 5,800m 5 hours overnight at Tent.

Today we follow a steep climbing trail through snow slopes. As we continue climbing, we can see amazing vistas of Annapurna Valley Himalayas including the views of Chulu East, Chulu West, and the Chulu Far East. To the most, the trip today offers you the crystal clear views of Pisang Peak. After reaching today’s overnight site, we will set the High Camp on a rocky platform near a small lake.  Tented Camp Overnight at High Camp.

Day 08 – Early Morning climb to Chulu East 6,429m back to Base camp 9/10 hours overnight at Tent.

The peak climbing trip today brings us to the glorious point of this adventure in the Himalayas as we conquer the top of Chulu Far East. Hence, today we will begin the peak climbing trip around 2 – 3 AM in the dark morning. Initially, we will follow a level trail. The next section of the trail gradually becomes steeper and even crosses rocks in the mountain tracks. The demanding trek eventually brings to the point of a climax of this section of the trip that is the top of Chulu Far East. From the top of the peak, we can enjoy the incredible views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Pisang Peak, Chulu west and the Himlung Valley on the north side. After capturing the captivating views from the top of the peak, we will descend all along the vertical slopes to the high camp at first and then again follow a descending trail to reach the base camp of Chulu Far East. Day 09 – Incase of Bad weather waiting for climbing next day.

If we can’t climb needs to wait for secondday so that we have an option this day if we can climb 1st day we will rest day today.

Day 10 – Trek to Manang 3,540m 5 hours overnight at Teahouse.

This section of the trail at first brings us at Julu Khola from where we follow a level trail along the forests to reach Manang – a beautiful village just below the Thorong La Pass situated within the Annapurna Conservation area. Gurung, Ghale, and Lamas are the inhabitants of this Trans-Himalayan village. Overnight at Manang.

Day 11 – Trek to Lether 4,200m 5/6 hours overnight at Teahouse.

In the morning we take our wonderful breakfast and start our nice trek from Manag to Lether at 4,200m. Need 5 to 6 hours to arrive Lether village. Along the way, we take our lunch and continue walking to arrive leather village is the wonderful village. Overnight in Teahouse.

Day 12 – Trek to Throng High Camp 4,800m 5 hours overnight at.

We have to take our wonderful breakfast and starting walking to arrive High Camp. What is at High Camp and How we can going their just ask your guide he can tell you everything about this. Your guide has more experience for this trek. Around 4:30 to 5 hours we need for this trek. Overnight at Teahouse.

Day 13 – Trek to Muktinath 3,760m via Throng La pass 5,416m overnight at Teahouse.

How wonderful another day today. After having breakfast we will walk with our Guide. He will guides you every place and you can walk very easily with him. Today we will arrive one of the very famous Hindus Temple is called Muktinath Temple. All people believe this god. If you ask something with God, The God provide you. Overnight at Teahouse in Muktinath.

Day 14 – Trek to Jomsom 2,720m 5 hours overnight at Teahouse.

Muktinath is an important place of pilgrimage for Nepalese of both Buddhist and Hindu faiths as these two religions are intricately woven together in Nepal. We visit the main temple in the morning and tour its surrounding. We can admire the water spouts before paying a visit to a Buddhist monastery nearby. From Muktinath, we retrace our steps back to Jomsom, enjoying good views of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 15 – Morning Domestic Flight to Pokhara 820m 25 minute transfer to Hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.

We take an early morning flight to Pokhara. The airplane passes through a gorge between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains making the flight itself an amazing experience. After arriving in Pokhara, the beautiful ‘Lake City’, we can spend the rest of the day in leisure. Boating in the Fewa Lake and strolling the quaint streets of ‘Lake Side’ is a popular choice among visitors. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 16 – Drive to Kathmandu Direct Transfer to Hotel on Bed & Breakfast plan.

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful northern skyline of Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu. This will be a journey along river banks with wonderful views of terraced hills and the rural Nepalese lifestyle. After reaching Kathmandu, we take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, we will have a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 17 – Departure from Kathmandu to your onward destination.

Our Chulu East Peak Climbing Trek in Nepal comes to an end today! A representative from Good Day Nepal will take us to the airport approximately three hours before the scheduled flight. On our flight back home, we take with us amazing memories of our Chulu East Climbing trip and Nepal.
