Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu.
The first step to our trip will is a beautiful city Kathmandu. You will be warmly welcomed and greeted by our friendly staffs at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our staffs will take you to the lovely guest house after clearing immigration and customs. And then the evening is all yours with dinner and enjoyment
Day 2: Kathmandu Trek Preparation.
On this day we go for the sightseeing of Kathmandu and surrounding valleys that includes Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. What’s so impressive about these valleys is that there are some landmarks that are listed on the list of World Heritage Sites. These valleys are full of ancient Durbar Square that were built ages ago. The sacred Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, the famous Swayambhu Nath also known as Monkey Temple are some the landmarks. In afternoon we organize a pre-discussion and give a chance to ask questions about any upcoming events you may find confusing.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Besisahar and Trek to Ngadi.
We need to go for a long drive to begin our trekking journey. It will take about 8-9 hours to reach our starting point trekking. After arriving at Mugling, we head to Pokhara. Then we leave the highway to Pokhara and head north to Besisahar. We will take a local from Besisahar to Bhulbhule. It would take approximately 1 hour to reach Ngadi from Bhulbhule if we go on foot. Then we will enjoy the beautiful close-up views of Ngadi.
Day 4: Ngadi to Jagat.
After enjoying some time in Ngadi, we will continue to our course. We will start our day walking across the bridge of Ngadi river. After a long walking and passing right through Syange, we will walk the high plains that reside in Ghulima. It will take about 2 hours to reach our destination Jagat. We will stay overnight at Jagat.
Day 5: Jagat to Dharapani.
Continuing to our course, we start our day walking along the river valley. After walking about 1 and half hours we reach the village of Chamje (1433m). After reaching Tal, we will further walk about 3 hours to reach Dharapani (1943m). We will stay overnight at Dharapani.
Day 6: Dharapani to Chame.
Normally it would take about 6 hours to reach Chame from Dharapani. It may upraise due to lunch and other things. Starting our day, we will walk around 1 hour to reach Bagarchap and we will continue our hiking and will take our lunch after we climb up to the hamlet of Dhanagya. Then we aim for the district headquarters for Manang District Chame (2713m). We will stay overnight at Chame.
Day 7: Chame to Pisang.
Starting our day following the trails under the snowy mountains of Annapurna Mountain range, we trek to the northern Bank of Marsyangdi. We will reach Tibetan-populated village of Bratang. Then we have to walk to Pisang for about an hour. We will stay overnight at Pisang.
Day 8: Pisang via Ngawal to Manang.
We will be traveling above 3000 m in this day. We need to take the route of Upper Pisang rather than Lower Pisang. Trekking through Upper Pisang will take more time than Lower Pisang. But we assure you it is worth going through that route. We need to climb a steep pass for about 40 minutes before reaching Ghyaru Village. On the way to Ngawal, we could see 2 beautiful peaks of Annapurna 2(7937m) and 4(7525m). Then we head straight for Manang. We will stay overnight at Manang.
Day 9: Manang Rest Day.
It is difficult to breathe in higher altitude especially after reaching to Manang. That’s why we will be resting in Manang for the rest of the day to adapt ourselves to this harsh environment. We will go for sightseeing in Manang. There is some great place we can visit like Bhojo Gompa and Gangapurna Lake. We can get some ideas altitude sickness during our visit at the Himalayan Rescue Association. We will stay overnight at Manang and prepare for the next day.
Day 10: Manang to Yak Kharka.
We start our day path that leads to the village of Tenki that is above Manang. After walking an hour we will reach Gunsang. It will be the last stop before reaching 4000 m. Another 2 hours of the walk will get us to our destination – Yak Kharka (4020m), also known as a yak grazing pasture. We will stay overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 11: Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi.
We start our day walking over a rushing stream that is coming from the Chulu Glacier. Our path will be ascended and we will be climbing till the river bed narrows down. After that our path will be descended and we will walk a steep path to reach Deurali. A short walk from Deurali and we reach our destination- Thorung Phedi (4450m). We will stay overnight at Thorung Phedi.
Day 12: Thorung Phedi via Thorung Pass to Muktinath.
We need to start early to reach our destination on time. It is one of the most important and most exciting parts of Annapurna Circle Trek. We will be experiencing some unforgettable time today. Thorung La pass is a famous high pass in Annapurna Circuit trek. We will be reaching Muktinath before the sun sets. Muktinath is one of the important Pilgrimage sacred to both Hindu as well as Buddhists. We will stay overnight at Muktinath.
Day 13: Muktinath to Kagbeni.
We start our day descending from Muktinath to Dzong on the north side of Valley. We will also view forbidden kingdom of Mustang and villages built in Mustand Style. Then after some time, we reach our destination-Kagbeni. We will stay overnight at Kagbeni.
Day 14: Kagbeni to Jomsom.
We start our day walking an hour to reach Eaklibatti village. Another three hours and we reach Kali Gandaki. We will cross the bridge and short walk will get us to our destination- Jomsom. We will stay overnight at Jomsom.
Day 15: Jomsom to Pokhara.
We start our day by walking to the airport. And we fly back to Pokhara.
Day16: Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Well, after a wonderful time in the white snow covered the Himalayas and short rest in Pokhara, you then have a scenic ride by bus to Kathmandu. Upon our arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, you will meet our office representative with your name card and then transfer to the hotel, relax and rest this afternoon.
Day 17: Final Departure.
And here comes to the end today. The cooperative and friendly staffs of Good Day Nepal Excursion will drop us to the Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight. Now, we have lots of memory of Annapurna Circuit Trek which will surely oblige us to come next time. We will end our journey and we will escort you to airport and bid farewell.
